# Brass Relay: rights and provenance

The repository's MIT license applies to site software. The Brass Relay case directory, artwork, rendered media, scene and CAD files, editor projects, production recipes and downloadable case packages are excluded from that license. Any separately identified upstream notice applies only to its own upstream material.

This publication grants no additional copyright license and makes no public-domain dedication for those case assets. Rights, to the extent applicable, remain with their respective holders. Public hosting and editable source availability do not imply permission to reuse, redistribute, sublicense or sell the artwork. No new MIT or CC0 grant is made by this package.

Brass Relay was authored for the DCC-MCP showcase. The native CAD files already carry “All rights reserved” metadata, which is preserved unchanged. No third-party models, texture packs, reference footage, music, application binaries or adapter source trees are included in this batch.

FreeCAD, Blender, Kdenlive, MLT and FFmpeg retain their upstream terms; those terms do not relicense the artwork. Blender uses its built-in font. The editor uses DejaVu Sans, installed separately. Its upstream Bitstream Vera / DejaVu notice is preserved at licenses/DejaVu-font-NOTICE.txt in the downloadable native packages; no font binary is redistributed.
